Welcome to Pivot Solutions! I'm Jessica. 

Throughout my 10+year fundraising career, I have worked with nonprofits across industries and states who faced many different challenges, but the solution has always been a version of this: Focus on creating strong relationships with your most treasured donors and connections, and everything else falls into place. 

My secret sauce in these fundraising wins? Engaging the board of directors in development; improving donor identification, cultivation, and stewardship; and creating strategic and compelling storylines and collateral. 

For example, as a staffer, I’ve helped these organizations increase fundraising with my donor-centric approach:

• At Josselyn community mental health center, I achieved a 16 percent increase in my portfolio giving (~75 donors) in FY25 even while managing signature events, development operations, and the stewardship program and related employees. I also provided leadership and support for the in-house capital campaign effort, which raised $20 million in 2.5 years.
• As the Director of Development for the education policy advocates at Advance Illinois, I nearly doubled the Board of Directors giving amount; 65 percent of board members increased their give/get in one year alone. 
• In my first professional role as a fundraiser with the regional economic development agency Greater Phoenix Economic Council, I set the organization’s record for new money raised in one year.

As a consultant, I’ve coached several local, national, and out-of-state nonprofits on fundraising fundamentals, with donor stewardship and cultivation at the heart of every engagement. I have provided:
