Welcome to Pivot Solutions. I'm Jessica.
Over the course of my career, I have succeeded as a deputy press secretary in the United States Senate, a marketing manager for a children's hospital in Phoenix, and a one-person development shop for several small nonprofits because of my ability to pivot. The end goal in each of these jobs was the same -- creating the desired outcome in our target audience -- and my job was to build, grow, or adjust the program to drive that action.
Now, as a seasoned fundraising leader with bonus experience in communications and advocacy, I pivot once more to the role of guide in helping your organization do the same.
As a serial ENTJ, I excel in evaluating, professionalizing, and innovating development programs.
My specialties include:
Because the pivot doesn't end there, I'm also a yoga teacher, rectal cancer survivor, mental health warrior, political junkie, and book author, too.
How can I help?
About The Logo: A Life Story in One Image
Like the breathtaking lotus that emerges from pure muck, some of the most wonderful creations are born of the ugliest circumstances. I dreamed of opening this consultancy for many years, and finally had the perfect opportunity to do so after the pandemic of 2020 took my job. The semicolon in the middle lotus leaf represents surviving mental health conditions and colon cancer. The "O" in Pivot is highlighted as a nod to my first book, "Full Circle: How Politics, Yoga and Depression Helped Me Crush Colorectal Cancer and Crisis." And the color yellow takes center stage for its significance throughout my life, from my childhood bedroom walls to my Emergenetics brain profile to my favorite chakra of personal power.
